Accounting & Finance Manager – SaaS – NYC Our client, a $10M NYC-based SaaS startup, is searching for an Accounting & Finance Manager to join their team and report to the CEO/Co-Founder, while overseeing all accounting, reporting, equity compensation, board deliverables, HR, and payroll. This person will also be involved in a combination of FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and corporate accounting/month-end close-related work. The company operates on a subscription-based model, and is used to ultimately allow their customers to make easier investment decisions. Location: Manhattan, 5 days in-office Responsibilities: Conduct corporate accounting responsibilities surrounding the month-end close, financial reporting, fixed assets, consolidations, and technical accounting projects Provide direction and guidance to the Accounting team as they perform their duties to ensure timely, accurate and consistent delivery Aid in the creation and maintenance of annual budget and financial models, conducting scenario analyses by product for the entire business. Foster collaborative relationships throughout the broader organization. Assist with the quarterly and yearly financial statements and financial controls audits Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis for management and assist with all financial reporting needs Monitor and analyze department work to improve and develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy Assist in the management of auditor engagements for completion of annual audit reports Participate in various business processes and technology integration initiatives Requirements: ~5-8 years’ experience with a corporate accounting group, preferably within a tech/SaaS revenue model ~ Foundation in public accounting ~ Proficiency in application of US GAAP. ~ Ability to strategically approach challenges in a creative manner while prioritizing multiple deadlines and responsibilities ~ Strong interpersonal skills with experience working cross-departmentally with multiple areas of an organization ~ Proficiency with large ERP systems and overall tech savviness a plus Salary: $130K – $150K plus bonus The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.
