Tiger Time, the official after school program of Princeton Public Schools, is seeking caring, reliable, and engaging Mentors to support our students across the districts four elementary schools: Johnson Park, Community Park, Littlebrook, and Riverside.Tiger Time Mentors help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where students can unwind, connect with peers, and participate in meaningful activities at the end of their school day. This is a great opportunity for aspiring educators, counselors, youth workers, or anyone interested in working with children in a school-based setting.Responsibilities:Supervise and engage with students in grades Pre-K to 5 during after school hoursFacilitate enrichment activities, games, and free playBuild positive relationships with students, families, and fellow staffSupport the social-emotional learning goals of the program through daily Streak Meetings and positive behavior strategiesFollow all safety, supervision, and attendance protocolsHelp maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program spaceUphold the values and expectations of the Tiger Time program and Princeton Public SchoolsSchedule & Availability:Staff must be available to work at least three consistent days per week, Monday through FridayHours are 2:304:30 p.m. at minimum, with the option to work as late as 6:00 p.m.Additional preference is given to staff who can work early dismissal days (1:00 p.m. start time)Location:Tiger Time Mentors may be assigned to any of the four elementary buildings in Princeton Public Schools.Qualifications:Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is preferredAffable and engaging personalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDependability, punctuality, and a collaborative mindsetCommitment to supporting childrens safety, engagement, and growthMust pass a background check and complete all required training
