Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour

Duties:

Department Responsibilities may vary which may include:

• Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct
• Keep accurate record of shipment details when cargo is arriving from worldwide points
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
• Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operations of related equipment
• Stage cargo for outgoing flights and ensuring shipments comply with all domestic and international requirements
• Sort and process priority postal products in a time critical environment
• Operate ground equipment, including tugs, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Perform routing cleaning of facilities and work areas
• Follow safety regulations which include proper use of ground equipment and wearing proper safety items
• All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse settings is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to proficiently speak, read and write in English
• Basic math skills - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
• Must be able to pass skills test
• Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, and able to continually bend, twist, and raise arms above head
• Strong work ethic and positive mindset
• Availability to work flexible working hours (including weekends & holidays)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required City of Houston and Customs Border Protection badge and seal

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $15.00 - $15.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
