We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated AML/KYC Analyst in San Francisco, California. The chosen candidate will be part of an industry that requires meticulous attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of compliance operations. Your primary role will be to monitor credit card compliance programs, investigate KYC/AML screening results, conduct customer due diligence, and execute transaction monitoring protocols.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed investigations into KYC/AML screening results for cardholders, involving the research of public records and the drafting of due diligence reports.
• Support the Compliance Officer in daily monitoring activities for the Co-brand Credit Card Compliance Program.
• Carry out customer due diligence investigations for new and existing credit card account holders, co-brand partners, and critical vendors.
• Execute transaction monitoring protocols to identify patterns of suspicious activity and potential fraud.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory examination materials related to credit card operations.
• Monitor adherence to credit card regulatory requirements, including TILA, ECOA, FCRA, and Regulation Z.
• Compile and maintain compliance testing documentation and evidence.
• Respond to routine compliance inquiries from internal teams.
• Review transaction alerts and determine appropriate escalation paths.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Capital IQ for financial research

• Understanding of Buying Processes in a financial context

• Experience in handling Buy-side Investments

• Expertise in Capital Management strategies and approaches

• Familiarity with Debt Financing procedures and regulations

• Proficiency in conducting Discounted Cash Flow analyses for investment evaluations
