Analytical Chemist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Analytical Chemist to join their dynamic team in the premium pet care products industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of their product formulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field, with extensive experience in developing cosmetic or consumer health products.

Focus:

  • Develop and optimize chemical processes for the formulation of premium pet care products.
  • Ensure all product formulations are free of solvents and comply with industry standards.
  • Analyze raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with R&D and regulatory teams to understand ingredient functionalities and ensure products meet all labeling guidelines.
  • Conduct stability testing and validate the efficacy and safety of all product formulations.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product formulation within the cosmetics, food, or similar consumer products industry.
  • Demonstrated success in the formulation and optimization of consumer products, preferably in solvent-free applications.
  • Profound knowledge of chemical interactions, product stability, and analytical methodologies.
  • Extensive understanding of regulatory requirements in the cosmetics or related consumer products sector.
  • Experience with natural and organic formulations is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of maintaining detailed lab records and reports.
