Job Description

As an Armed Security Guard - Full Time - Night Shift in Hookerton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer at this government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity. You will contribute to a positive environment by upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, always putting people first while addressing security-related needs throughout the location.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
