Volt is immediately hiring Assemblers in Coopersville, Michigan.

As an Assembler you will:

• Follow wiring diagrams and schematics
• Electrical control panel and wiring
• Install pre-wired panels into control boxes
• Perform point-to-point wiring
• Read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layout
• Inspect parts to identify defects and ensure quality
• Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times, and tools or other equipment are used appropriately based on the task
• Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job

This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

The ideal Assembler candidate will have:

• Must have knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics
• Must have SMT experience
• Must be able to understand blueprints and drawings
• Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
• Perform basic math functions, including an understanding of fractions and decimals
• Perform basic computer tasks
• Must be a team player with good attendance
• Must take direction, follow instructions, and work well with others with a positive attitude
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements.

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Electronic Assembly
• Mechanical Assembly
• Production
• Machine Operating
• General Labor

Shift:

1st shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm

3rd shift Sunday- Thursday 11:00pm- 7:00 am

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
