Description United's Digital Technology team is comprised of talented individuals working with cutting-edge technology to build the best airline in aviation history. Our team designs, develops, and maintains scalable technology solutions through innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions. Job overview and responsibilities Candidates selected for United’s Cybersecurity Early Career Digital Leadership Program will undertake at least three (3) six-month rotations in Cybersecurity and one (1) optional six-month rotation in Digital Technology or Internal Audit over two years. They will work across multiple portfolios in both technical and process roles, gaining broad knowledge and enhancing cybersecurity skills at United. Placement specifics will determine the exact duties, which may include roles in security, risk, compliance, digital channels strategy, digital technology, operations technology, or infrastructure/cloud engineering. All participants will have opportunities for growth through technical, personal, and leadership events outside their direct roles. Candidates will be given detailed assignment overviews and can rank their interests and skills. Roles are assigned based on program seniority, with specifics varying by team placement. Job functions will vary based on placement, focusing on security, risk, and compliance or digital technology areas. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Experience in results-driven team environments, such as summer internships Ability to work independently on tasks and projects Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills with a teamwork focus Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Successful interview completion Punctuality and reliable attendance Preferred Qualifications: Additional bachelor's degree Experience in cybersecurity or digital technology internships, especially at United Airlines Skills in Python, Data Analysis, ServiceNow, AWS, Excel, Linux, PowerBi Foundational United-specific digital technology knowledge from internships The role's base pay ranges from $64,885 to $88,440, dependent on experience, education, and skills. Compensation may include bonuses and incentives.
