Primary Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail vehicle exteriors and interiors to dealership standards
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or concerns to management
• Use cleaning solutions, buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other detailing equipment properly and safely
• Apply protective coatings to vehicle surfaces
• Clean and condition vehicle upholstery, carpets, dashboards, and trim
• Review Scheduled unit Line-up before and after each job to ensure priorities are met
• Ensure all vehicles are inspected and “customer ready” before pickup or delivery
• Safely move vehicles in and out of bays, lots, or staging areas as needed
• Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and request restocks when necessary
• Follow all company safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment as well as disposal
• Assist with lot organization, including staging and arranging vehicles as needed
• Always maintain a clean and organized work area

Required skills and qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• Previous experience in auto detailing, car wash, or related field preferred (but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and work with hands for long periods
• Physical ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate equipment safely
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
