JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Take accurate food orders from guests, paying special attention to allergies and dietary restrictions, ensure buffet is stocked appropriately, and clear throughout the event.
- Monitor food/beverage distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients, beverages are refreshed, and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
- Read Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) and assist with room set-ups.
- Complete various side duties before and after the event.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Minimum of High School education
- Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
- Food safety certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Team player
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
