JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Take accurate food orders from guests, paying special attention to allergies and dietary restrictions, ensure buffet is stocked appropriately, and clear throughout the event.
  • Monitor food/beverage distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients, beverages are refreshed, and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
  • Read Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) and assist with room set-ups.
  • Complete various side duties before and after the event.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of High School education
  • Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
  • Food safety certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally
  • Team player
  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
