Job Description

  • Work alongside Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to execute full construction low voltage drawings set packages to architects and clients.
  • Plan, design, and administer low voltage commercial design projects for clients.
  • Apply knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing/procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems to projects.
  • Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents
  • Coordinate and integrate engineering elements into designs for client review & permitting approvals
  • Produces construction documents in Revit, BIM360, Enscape, CAD, Etc.
  • Work together with a team and individually
  • Work in tandem with highly collaborative multidisciplinary design teams
  • Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
  • Have knowledge of designing BIM cabling infrastructure systems, wireless systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems, and coordinating pathways, spaces, and MEP systems that support them
  • REVIT document control and changes throughout the project lifecycle, i.e. systems commissioning

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Revit/B.I.M. design experience
  • Knowledge of the BIM360 Workflow
  • Understanding and knowledge of B.I.M. Technologies including Revit, BIM360, LOD, Family Creation, etc.
  • Ability to provide detailed and efficient design solutions relating to B.I.M.
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team-building abilities
