BUSINESS OFFICE OPERATIONS MANAGER Location Tupelo, MS :

We need a Business Office Operations Manager to optimize department processes and ensure the building of lasting relationships with our customers. This person will maintain accurate payment records, enforce company policies, and contribute to each company's overall success. The position has the growth potential to assume other responsibilities in the future. This is a full-time, on-premise role and will work 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

  • Manage all activities in the invoice purchasing function to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time including rebates, chargebacks, aging and collections.
  • Lead, oversee and provide direction to staff clerks
  • Support month and year end processes
  • Set and facilitate the achievement of department objectives, evaluate team outputs for accuracy, consistency and effectiveness in meeting customer's needs

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management or equivalent job experience preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting/finance roles with team management experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures
  • Outstanding planning and problem-solving skills
  • Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
