Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a contract role supporting retail and long-term care pharmacy services in Rochester, MN. This position involves assisting pharmacists in dispensing prescribed medications accurately and providing exceptional customer service to ensure patients understand their medication regimens.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (9 hours)
• Fridays, 8:00 AM 12:00 PM (4 hours)
• Specific dates from December 22, 2025, through January 30, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers
• Provide customers with detailed information on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Maintain high standards of customer service and support within a retail and long-term care pharmacy setting
• Assist pharmacists and collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure patient safety and pharmacy efficiency

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Pharmacy Technician License required
• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
