We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and visionary CFO to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role in managing our company's financial operations and guiding our financial strategy. The CFO will work closely with other senior leaders to drive growth and seek improvements in operational processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial actions of the company, ensuring business growth through directing and managing business performance and planning. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans.
2. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
3. Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community.
4. Report financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements.
5. Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
6. Accomplish finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
7. Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance team.
8. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
9. Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis.
10. Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct annual performance appraisals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
2. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent).
3. Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven track record of success.
4. Solid experience in FP&A, financial planning, and strategy.
5. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
7. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
8. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
9. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
10. Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
11. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
12. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
13. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
14. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
15. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
