Position Overview The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for developing and executing the company’s long-term information technology strategy to support business objectives, drive digital transformation, and ensure optimal return on IT investments. This role is a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic direction on technology initiatives, IT governance, and financial planning for IT operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with overall business goals, emphasizing innovation, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage. Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal allocation of resources for technology investments and digital initiatives. Drive enterprise-wide technology modernization and transformation efforts, including cloud adoption, cybersecurity enhancements, and digital infrastructure improvements. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities where IT can create business value, improve customer experience, and enhance operational processes. Establish IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, security best practices, and corporate policies. Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive business innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Oversee data management, analytics, and business intelligence strategies to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure IT risk management strategies are in place, including robust cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery planning. Develop vendor and partner relationships to optimize IT service delivery, procurement, and strategic alliances. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven leadership experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise technology management. Strong financial acumen with experience managing IT budgets, cost optimization, and technology investments. Exceptional ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives and drive cross-functional collaboration. Expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data governance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess technology needs and business impacts. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making at the executive level. Experience with regulatory compliance, risk management, and IT governance frameworks. Education & Experience Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity.
