Civil Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee and manage projects related to underground utilities, wastewater, sanitary sewer, and siteworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination : Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Team Management : Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
Quality Control : Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Budget Management : Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
Site Inspections : Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in underground utilities, wastewater, sanitary sewer, or siteworks.
Certifications : PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Experience:

Underground Utilities : Experience managing projects involving the installation and maintenance of underground utility systems.
Wastewater and Sanitary Sewer : Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and sanitary sewer systems.
Siteworks : Experience with site preparation, grading, and other site development activities.
