Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver/Dump Truck Driver Location: Charlottesville, VA Company: True Living LLC/ True Steel LLC True Living LLC/ True Steel LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver/Operator to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. This position is responsible for transporting and operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support our steel and construction operations. Responsibilities: Operate and haul heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, and cranes, to job sites. Ensure safe and secure loading, securing, and unloading of heavy machinery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain compliance with DOT regulations. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on trucks and equipment. Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws to ensure secure transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and team members. Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Minimum 3 years of experience hauling heavy equipment. Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, or cranes is a plus. Knowledge of DOT regulations and heavy haul permitting. Ability to secure oversized loads properly. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions. Required Certifications: Class A CDL (Virginia). Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical). OSHA 10 or 30 (preferred, but not required). Any additional state or local permits required for heavy haul operations in Charlottesville, VA.
