Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Join Sysco as a Class C Delivery Truck Driver, where you will play a vital role in our operations by safely and efficiently operating a truck to deliver a variety of products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and more to customer locations on a scheduled route. Build strong relationships with our customers while providing exceptional service with a positive and friendly attitude. Although this position does not require a Class A or B commercial driver's license, those who have one may be needed to operate a tractor-trailer as required and must meet all DOT driver qualification standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older. Successful candidates must submit to a pre-employment drug screen. The ability to read, speak, and understand English to effectively communicate with the public, comprehend highway signs, respond to inquiries, and fill out reports is essential. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Must possess a Class C/Standard Operator Driver License. Physical Demands Job involves touching freight, where lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing between 40-60 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds, is required.
