Job Description

IDR is seeking a Clinical Documentation Specialist to join one of our top clients for this remote position. This role is perfect for individuals with a medical degree or RN license and experience in clinical documentation. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Clinical Documentation Specialist - REMOTE:

Conducting concurrent medical record reviews
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Ensuring compliance with MS-DRG classification and CMS regulations
This is a 6-month contract with potential for permanent placement

Required Skills for Clinical Documentation Specialist - REMOTE:

Medical degree (IMG) or RN license
Minimum of 2-3 years as a Clinical Documentation Specialist
Experience with OBGYN, Pediatrics, or Inpatient Psychiatry is preferred
Quality-based reviews, mortality reviews, and risk adjustment tool experience
CCDS or CCDIP certification
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
