Job Description

Extraco Banks is seeking a Commercial Banker to join our team in the Harker Heights market.

Summary:
Develop commercial loan growth in the defined market area through a variety of activities including business development, community involvement and other related responsibilities assigned by the Market Executive.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Work closely with Market Executive to analyze potential loan opportunities, help with the development of a coordinated business development plan, assist in the development of marketing strategies designed to grow market share, coordinate activities within the market area, and willingness to contribute as necessary in accomplishing defined goals.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on finance or economics, MBA preferred

Experience:
Banking background with emphasis in commercial lending and general banking with strong leadership, and presentation skills.

Personal Characteristics:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary. Ability to adapt very quickly with changes in environments (both external and internal).

Requirements:
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Understanding of accounting terms and principals

Good understanding of lending concepts, practices and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to develop strong business relationships with internal and external customers
