Commercial Sales Representative (Manhattan, NY / Hybrid, Full-Time)

We are seeking a driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our team in Manhattan, NY. This role focuses on acquiring new commercial accounts, growing existing client relationships, and fielding inbound sales inquiries. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, experienced sales professional eager to build and scale a replicable sales function for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new commercial clients (e.g., parking garages, offices, apartments, theaters, schools, museums) through outbound sales efforts, including in-person relationship building.
  • Client Relationship Growth: Expand revenue from existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional services and referrals.
  • Sales Inquiry Management: Respond to and close inbound sales calls efficiently.
  • Sales Function Development: Contribute to building a scalable, replicable sales process to support future team growth.
  • Client Site Visits: Conduct onsite assessments and meetings with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored pest control solutions.
  • Revenue Goals: Achieve annual revenue targets through a combination of new and expanded accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven expertise in B2B commercial sales, ideally in pest control, facilities management, or a related industry in and around Manahattan, New York. Experience closing deals through in-person relationship building is essential.
  • Skills:
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Comfortable with outbound sales and minimal reliance on inbound leads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Diligence and punctuality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk longer distances for client visits, as many sales activities involve walking within Manhattan.
  • Location: Must reside in Manhattan or nearby areas (e.g., Brooklyn, Queens) and be willing to commute to client sites in and around the Manhattan area.
  • Transportation: Costs of public transportation will be covered
  • Licensing: Pest control licensing or certifications are a plus but not required.

Work Environment:

  • Remote Home Base: Work from your home in Manhattan or nearby areas, with no central office.
  • Client Visits: Travel to client sites within a compact Manhattan radius (may occasionally extend to nearby areas).
  • Equipment: Company-provided phone and email account. Candidates must provide their own vehicle and laptop.
  • Schedule: Flexible hours, typically aligning with client needs (e.g., 8 AM–5 PM). Achieve annual revenue goals to enjoy greater schedule autonomy.
