The Staff Pad has partnered with a growing organization in Miami, Florida, to find a highly skilled and detail-oriented   Controller   to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for a financial professional with exceptional organizational abilities and a strong grasp of GAAP and international finance practices. The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate:

• Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial insights and recommendations

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in complex financial analysis and forecasting

• Deep knowledge of GAAP and international finance practices

• Strong organizational, leadership, and project management capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close, A/P, payroll, and general ledger activities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations

• Evaluate and enhance internal accounting procedures to support strategic goals

• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant financial regulations

• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings for affiliated entities

• Maintain fiscal records and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions

• Lead annual budget planning and cash flow forecasting

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions

• Prepare monthly and quarterly variance reports comparing actuals to budges
