About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean of Admissions to lead and invigorate the undergraduate student recruitment process. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of admissions, including the recruitment of first-year, transfer, and international students. This role demands a visionary and strategic leader who can grow enrollment, build relationships across the university, and support a dedicated admissions staff. The Dean will be expected to advance a compelling narrative that highlights the institution's strengths and unique programs, as well as optimize technical operations and vendor relationships. Embracing the company's Catholic, Holy Cross identity and mission is essential, and the ideal candidate will have a track record in enrollment growth, experience in managing external partners and vendors, and a deep understanding of the impact of financial aid strategies on enrollment outcomes. Candidates for the Dean of Admissions position at the company should be prepared to be visible leaders, effectively communicating the institution's story and engaging with high schools, colleges, and community partners. A collaborative approach within a university setting and the ability to harness technology in innovative ways are also key requirements. The role is pivotal in the company's strategic plan to prepare individuals to bring hope into the world, and the Dean will play a critical part in the institution's 125-year celebration of excellence. A bachelor's degree is required, along with experience in strategic planning, budget oversight, and supervising admissions or enrollment management personnel at the associate dean level or higher. The Dean will report directly to the Vice President of Enrollment Management & Marketing Services and will be instrumental in driving positive, transformational change in the admissions process.
