Position Summary:

Are you a skilled taper and drywall finisher looking to make a significant impact in the construction industry? Join us at Marous Brothers Construction (MBC)! In this role, you'll support our efforts to build and maintain high-quality structures, ensuring our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You'll be responsible for performing quality drywall taping, operating and maintaining drywall finishing equipment, and contributing to the overall success of the project. Key Responsibilities:

As a Taper/Drywall Finisher at MBC, you will be deeply involved in every phase of our construction process. Your journey begins with performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety standards. You will operate and maintain drywall finishing equipment, perform quality drywall taping, and contribute to the overall success of the project as it relates to safety, budget, schedule, client relations, and housekeeping. Effective communication and teamwork are crucial, so you will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.

• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety standards.
• Operate and maintain drywall finishing equipment.
• Perform quality drywall taping in accordance with specs and construction standards.
• Contribute to the overall success of the project as it relates to safety, budget, schedule, client relations, and housekeeping.

Qualifications:

Do you have a valid State Driver's License and a high school diploma or GED? Are you a union member with a valid membership card and annual drug-free card? If you have knowledge of drywall and plaster repair, and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods of time, you might be the perfect fit for this role. Your ability to work as a team player and follow instructions effectively will be crucial to your success.

• Valid State Driver's License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Union member with valid membership card and annual drug-free card.
• Knowledge of drywall and plaster repair.
• Ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods of time.

Desired Tools and Equipment Experience:

• Personal tools: Taping knives, pan, sanding pole, and appropriate attire.
• Trade tools: Power sander, texturing sprayer, and all boxes, angle glazers, and bazooka.
• Stilt walking experience.

Certifications a Plus:

• OSHA 10 or 30 training.
• CPR / Standard First-Aid Training.
• Aerial and scissor lift training.
