New Gig Solutions is assisting a well-established Tax Resolution firm in Encino, CA, in their search for a dedicated and experienced Enrolled Agent to join their team. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to work with a dynamic organization that specializes in resolving complex tax issues for individuals and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities to resolve disputes, audits, and compliance issues.
• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Develop tailored tax resolution strategies, including offers in compromise, penalty abatement, and installment agreements.
• Conduct detailed tax research to ensure compliance and identify optimal client solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather documentation, provide updates, and explain resolution strategies.
• Stay current on federal and state tax laws and regulations to provide expert guidance.

Qualifications

• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) certification (in good standing).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax resolution and tax preparation.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax codes and procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in tax software and related tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ProSeries, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first approach.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling offers in compromise, audits, and other IRS dispute resolution processes.
• Familiarity with multi-state tax matters and international tax issues.
• Background in litigation support or forensic accounting is a plus.
