Job Description

The position has the following responsibilities:

Facilitates organizational procedures in accordance with 40 CFR 262.265
Leads the design and implementation of air movement systems throughout the facility, including ventilation, makeup air, particulate and fume exhaust, collection, and other air movement requirements
Administration of environmental permits and requirements, ensuring timely completion of all reports
Recommends, evaluates, and aids in implementation of new equipment and processes to ensure environmental compliance
Helping with the design of equipment regarding emissions and environmental safety
Serves as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies on issues pertaining to solid and hazardous waste program requirements
Identifies operational initiatives necessary to ensure environmental compliance
A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and five to seven years of related experience is needed.
