Job Description

The position has the following responsibilities:

• Facilitates organizational procedures in accordance with 40 CFR 262.265
• Leads the design and implementation of air movement systems throughout the facility, including ventilation, makeup air, particulate and fume exhaust, collection, and other air movement requirements
• Administration of environmental permits and requirements, ensuring timely completion of all reports
• Recommends, evaluates, and aids in implementation of new equipment and processes to ensure environmental compliance
• Helping with the design of equipment regarding emissions and environmental safety
• Serves as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies on issues pertaining to solid and hazardous waste program requirements
• Identifies operational initiatives necessary to ensure environmental compliance
• A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and five to seven years of related experience is needed.
