Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fiberglass Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in the fabrication of fiberglass components, specifically in a manufacturing environment where precision and quality are essential. This role requires a strong understanding of fiberglass materials, composite fabrication techniques, and the ability to produce high-quality, durable components that meet industry standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble fiberglass components used in the production of industrial valves, ensuring that all parts meet precise specifications and quality standards.

• Assemble fabricated parts into completed valve assemblies, ensuring proper fit and functionality. Trim excess material, smooth surfaces, and prepare for final inspection.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols. Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow all environmental regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on fiberglass fabrication tools and equipment when necessary. Report all equipment malfunctions or issues to management in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and other manufacturing personnel to ensure products are made according to specifications and timelines.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• 3 plus years of experience in fiberglass fabrication, preferably in valve or related industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in fiberglass techniques.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to operate fabrication tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
