Johnson Controls is seeking a passionate and strategic Finance Early Talent Program Manager to lead the development and execution of our Finance early career programs. The Program Manager will oversee the new talent (Rotational and Interns) for both accounting, finance and will execute on programs to develop early talent within the organization to include learning and development, performance management, leadership development, new employee assessment, and early succession planning. This role will report to the Global Leader for Early Talent for Accounting, Finance and Supply Chain/Operations.
In this role, you’ll partner with senior Finance and HR leaders to ensure programmatic alignment with business needs, identify and mitigate operational risks, and continuously enhance the early career experience. This position has broad oversight and direct responsibility for a large team, supporting over 50 early career employees across various locations. How you will do it:Lead the end-to-end management of regional Finance and Accounting internship and rotational programs, including recruitment, performance evaluations, career development planning, and full-time conversion strategies
Serve as Chair of the Regional Steering Committee, collaborating with other Program Managers globally to align best practices and ensure consistency across all early talent programs
Own university and external partnerships, driving campus engagement, diversity outreach, and visibility through events, professional organizations, and targeted recruiting strategies
Oversee program learning & development, including onboarding, manager training, formal mentorship/sponsorship programs, and the continuous improvement of rotational experiences
Monitor program success through KPI dashboards, early-exit assessments, and participant feedback to influence program evolution and demonstrate business impact
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in finance, talent development, early career program management, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale programs and manage direct/indirect reports.
Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit practices.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence across functions and levels of the organization.
