Job Title: Gate Guard

Full-Time position: 40 hours (including weekends)

Salary: $20.00 per hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, including weekends, must be available to work 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Leisure World of Maryland Corporation (LWMC), the property management company for Leisure World of Maryland, is a private, age-restricted community comprised of 29 community associations representing over 5,600 homes and extensive Trust operations, located in Silver Spring, Maryland has immediate openings for Gate Guards to work 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. shift. The schedule include weekends and it is subject to change based on operational needs.

Please Note : New Hires will train on a variety of shifts which includes a midnight shift, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Employees will continuously work on a variety of shifts and all schedules are subject to change based on operational need.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED. 1-3 years of related experience and/or training preferred but not necessary.

• Ability to enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form.
• Ability to provide information to supervisors, and co-workers, by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in-person.
• Ability to consistently provide a high level of accurate work delivered in a timely manner.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Ability to identify and respond to customer needs in a courteous manner.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
• Computer literate and knowledgeable using Microsoft Office and Excel or comparable software.
