Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker at our McElhattan, PA facility, where we specialize in the manufacturing of truck lights and wire harnesses. We cater to a variety of vehicles including pick-up trucks, tractor trailers, and military vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse duties using an RF scanner to pull and process orders.
• Box, label, and pack orders, and operate a bagging machine.
• Use a pallet jack to lift and palletize products.
• Complete customer-specific orders accurately.
• Work efficiently in a team setting and independently, depending on the task.
• Handle large orders in the Manufacturing Pack area by reading work orders, finding and scanning products, and preparing them for shipping.
• In the Customer Pack role, manage smaller, detail-oriented orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy without additional checks.
• Operate forklifts (both sit-down and high-reach) as an Industrial Truck Operator after passing the required test.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Teamwork and independent working capabilities.
• Basic computer skills, especially for the Customer Pack role.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Experience in general labor, warehouse pick/pack, assembly, manufacturing, or production is advantageous.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No prior experience needed as training is provided.
• Ability to move up in the company quickly, even while under contract.
• Reference checks will focus on attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.

Work Environment

Our facility offers a clean and organized small part manufacturing environment. The dress code is casual with jeans, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes (steel toes are not required). We offer a structured work schedule with various shifts to accommodate different needs. Orientation includes safety training and operational information, ensuring a seamless start to your new role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MC ELHATTAN, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
