**Job Description**
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
? Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a Safety conscious environment. Challenge status quo Safety behaviors, engage in Safety initiatives and attend all Safety related training.
? Drive for and ensure work product remain in or exceed the standards and specifications established by Quality Assurance and Compliance.
? Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility as part of the team to ensure plant sustainability.
? Engage and support a team environment within the department and across the facility.
? Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety policies and other policies as outlined by the Company.
? Production Operator will ensure proper specification on product
? Track downtime downstream of filler and other applicable downtime equipment with the area,
? Perform required weight and code checks at correct intervals.
? Clean machine regularly during production, maintain floor cleanliness and complete all required Master Sanitation Schedule items daily,
? Pass on information to incoming shift
? Other duties as assigned by supervisor
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience, preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
