Job Description

**Description** This position is responsible for providing labor support to experienced carpenters and/or insulators. Entry-level personnel will learn insulation removal and/or installation, whenever feasible. Insulation work performed on the job will be reviewed and evaluated by supervisors. All newly hired personnel function under the guidance of experienced team members, not limited to Shipyard Workers, Trainees, Craftsmen, Apprentices, and Journeymen. + Routine job duties may include but are not limited to the following: + Conveying material to various locations throughout the jobsite + Organizing and maintaining clean work areas + Performing basic insulation installation, coating application, taping, and removal + On-the-job training offered + Tools will be provided to entry level workers. **Basic Requirements** + No previous experience required + Employees will be required to join the applicable labor union, Heat & Frost Insulators Local 5 + Must be at least 18 years old + Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside + Physically able to perform assigned tasks + Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time + United States work authorization is required **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
