Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Kovitz Global Investment Committee evaluates investment managers and asset classes in the context of managing client portfolios. Our approach more closely resembles an endowment approach than a typical wealth manager.

You will be speaking with investment managers, former manager employees, peer asset allocators, and other professionals relevant to building an investment thesis. Effective communication will be critical as you build an investment case, draft investment memos, and make recommendations to the team.

This is an opportunity to join a team where one can bring meaningful contributions to the investment process and progress professionally within an established and growing wealth management firm.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Entrepreneurial, high-integrity, team-oriented individual with strong oral and written communication skills. Passion for long-term, research-oriented, investing. Experience understanding business fundamentals, analyzing management teams, and identifying value-creative ideas. High degree of curiosity and a track record of successful accomplishments in life. Strong academic background. 3-5 years of analytical and investing experience required.
