Our challenge

We are seeking a talented and passionate iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that provide exceptional user experiences. Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within San Francisco, CA/Boston, MA is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C.
  • Participate in the entire app lifecycle, including concept, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards.
  • Work with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.
  • Assist in app store submissions, updates, and user feedback management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in iOS app development with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience with Xcode, Cocoa Touch, and iOS SDK.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of Apple's human interface guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with other mobile platforms or cross-platform development tools.
  • Knowledge of backend services and integration.
  • Prior experience publishing apps on the App Store.
