Our client is seeking a Junior Java Software Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis, supporting a U.S. Government customer. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical technical expertise, assisting in the maintenance and advancement of mission-focused software and systems for a high-impact government contract.Responsibilities: Engage in Front End or Full Stack development, contributing to a collaborative team environment. Develop applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, React, or Vue. Build and maintain Java Web or NodeJS applications. Design and apply CSS for application interfaces. Create and integrate RESTful services to enhance application functionality. Must Have's: Security Clearance: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph. Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required. Experience: Entry-level with 0+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Skills: Proficient in developing with JavaScript frameworks and Java or NodeJS; experience with CSS and RESTful services. Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills. Nice to Have's: Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS, jQuery, React, or Vue. Knowledge in developing RESTful services and integrating them with web applications. Familiarity with Java Web or NodeJS applications and CSS implementation.
