The Role Quick Take - This is a wonderful opportunity for a law student to get exposure to corporate transactional legal work within a growing private-equity owned company. The candidate will work with several contract types and learn how key contract provisions translate into a company's ongoing business. This is a full-time summer opportunity (May - August 2025, 10 weeks maximum) for a smart, humble law student with a hunger for constant learning within a dynamic business environment.
The Work - A small in-house legal department is seeking a summer intern for assistance with various projects. Examples of projects include assisting in building playbooks within the company's contract lifecycle management system; creating legal training materials for new sales team members, project managers, and other departments that routinely interact with the legal team; assisting with updating the company's contract repository; drafting various agreements; researching legal topics in subject areas such as intellectual property, data privacy, data transfer, artificial intelligence, and other topics related to the company's business and providing memos, policy drafts and other deliverables from this research. All projects will be completed under the guidance of the company's in-house legal counsel, including general counsel, with additional support provided by our in-house paralegal.

Have experience and expertise in Microsoft Office products and online legal research tools (e.g. Bloomberg Law). Contract lifecycle management software experience (Ironclad) is preferred.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively with a wide variety of business and legal colleagues.
Provide practical legal analysis.
Possess a desire to practice law in an in-house setting after graduation and bar passage.
