Insight Global is seeking a local contract Phlebotomist for a local contract job in Denver, Colorado.
Insight Global is looking to hire temporary Phlebotomy Technicians for a 1-week wellness event in Denver, CO. The dates will be April 25th-May 1st, for a total of ~40 hours. The event takes place at several locations, so you will be responsible for transportation to each location every day. Pay is between $20-25/hour. The Phlebotomy Technician will be responsible for using venipuncture, finger sticks, or heel sticks to collect blood samples during the wellness event, as well as collecting vitals (heart rate and BP). Additional responsibilities include properly labeling and handling blood samples to ensure accurate identification and integrity, following safety protocols to avoid blood-borne pathogen exposure, and keeping a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety standards. Required Skills and Experience: - 2+ years of experience working as a Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist - Certified Phlebotomy Technician - Comfortable working 1 week contract - Valid ID or driver's license - Current Phlebotomy credential card for onboarding Nice to Have Skills and Experience: - Ability to bring personal stethoscope and blood pressure machine - Mobile Phlebotomy experience
