Job Description

Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc. is a biomedical platform company operating at the convergence of engineering, biology, and healthcare delivery, aiming to deliver life-changing solutions to patients and their doctors. We design and develop Pulsed Electric Field Systems to achieve meaningful and lasting therapeutic outcomes for patients.The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a critical bridge between Galvanize Therapeutics and the oncology community. The MSL is responsible for messaging relevant information to customers and building relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), primarily in the fields of oncology and pulmonology. This role requires a deep understanding of Galvanize products, oncology, clinical and pre-clinical data, and Aliya treatment planning.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) specific to Aliya pre-clinical and clinical data, publications, abstracts, and journal articles.Serve as a technical and procedural expert.Lead procedural training with physicians and support staff.Deliver educational presentations to customers and internal teams.Develop Aliya training materials.Identify and escalate potential risks.Identify processes needing improvement and communicate to management.Troubleshoot and resolve product issues in the field.Report product complaints and support corrective actions.Contribute to clinical study site selection.Drive clinical study enrollment per study timelines.Support clinical trial sites with procedures, data collection, patient selection, and protocol questions.Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs.Collaborate with departments such as Professional Education, Regulatory, Sales, Legal, and Operations.Key RequirementsEducation and TrainingBachelor’s degree in biology, engineering, or a related medical discipline.Knowledge of oncology therapeutic area preferred.Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH Guidelines, GCP, ISO 14155, and industry practices related to clinical trials.Skills and Experience5+ years in the medical device field.5+ years proctoring procedures.Ability to communicate key messages effectively to physicians.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment autonomously with high work ethics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick adaptability to other electronic systems.Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.Capable of completing high-quality projects with minimal guidance.Ability to handle multiple complex tasks within deadlines.Other: Ability to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.This role pays between $155,000 and $170,000 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Galvanize Therapeutics is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
