Job Description We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to support DHS/CBP mission-critical systems. This hands-on role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing mobile solutions. You'll collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues, enhance system capabilities, and ensure scalability and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, build, and enhance real-time, scalable mobile solutions. Develop front-end mobile and back-end RESTful APIs. Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices. Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement processes. Requirements Work Schedule: 100% Remote But Candidate must reside in the DMV area Education: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree. Mobile Development Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in Android/iOS development. Proficient in front-end mobile frameworks and back-end RESTful API development. Hands-on experience with:

  • Development languages: Java, Node.js
  • Databases: SQL, NoSQL
  • Testing frameworks and tools.
  • Mobile frameworks like Flutter and languages such as Dart.
Strong knowledge of Postgres, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular/React). Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start. Preferred Qualifications: Active CBP BI clearance. Active Top Secret / SCI AWS cloud development experience. Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation. Prior experience with DHS/CBP projects.
