Join FAR Inspections as a Mortgage Field Services Inspector. FAR Inspections is a Reno, NV-based company specializing in residential occupancy verifications for mortgage lenders. What is an Occupancy Verification? Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties; the purpose of the inspection is to confirm property occupancy and report general condition using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only; about 10% require interior photos if the property has become vacant.
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. You will earn the equivalent of $30?$40 per hour . Depending on the county and its urban/rural nature you will complete anywhere from 20?500 inspections per month, working 2?30 hours per week. Lower volume counties offer higher rates; higher volume counties offer lower rates. There is no set number of inspections per month, but the workload is consistent month?to?month.
No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
