The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Night shift from 5pm - 2AM/3AM, 4days work week, 3 days off

What will you do?

• Handle large sums of money including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services 
• Maintain an accurate count of banks
• Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor
• Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits
• Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures 

More about you

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Six months’ cash handling experience preferred; experience handling large amounts of money
• Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction
• Basic computer skills 
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
• Exposure to secondhand smoke
