We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Services Team.

Under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Team Lead, you will be a key ambassador for our department, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

• Position: Full Time, Non- Certified Phlebotomist
• Department: Outpatient Lab
• Hours: Day shift; 5:45 am - 6:30 pm, start times may vary on department needs. May cover inpatient as needed.
• Rotations: ARMC Outpatient and Cancer Center draw site
• On-Call/Holiday Coverage: Inpatient (1-2x/month); Inpatient holiday (4th of July/Christmas)
• Location: 272 Hospital Rd - Chillicothe, Ohio 45601

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and collect various specimen types.
• Correctly identify patients and label/process specimens.
• Enter and process lab orders in the LIS system.
• Provide clear instructions for urine, drug screen, and other patient-collected specimens.
• Deliver/send specimens and support general lab workflow.
• Offer excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Handle basic clerical tasks and maintain clean, stocked work areas.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Accredited Phlebotomy course completion preferred.
• CPR certification (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and/or EKG training, as applicable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer relations. Mathematical, Verbal, and Written skill at the highschool level.
