RESPONSIBILITIES: Travel to various locations, such as clients' homes, offices, hospitals, or other designated places, to facilitate the signing of documents that require notarization. This could include a wide range of legal documents, such as real estate transactions, wills, powers of attorney, loan documents, and other agreements. Typical duties include: Verifying identities Witnessing signatures Certifying documents Ensuring compliance Maintaining records Providing expertise QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: MUST be a U.S. citizen. High school diploma or equivalent. Notary Public commission. Essential qualities include legal knowledge, technical proficiency, communication skills, and professionalism. PREFERRED: Insights from prior work in legal or financial fields, as well as skills in customer service to enhance client interactions. Proficiency in multiple languages for effective communication in diverse communities, mastery of notarization technology for efficiency, and legal or paralegal knowledge for deeper document understanding. Good reviews from previous clients demonstrate professionalism and reliability. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High-speed Internet connection. Dependable computer with camera and microphone. Home office set-up.
