Holeman  + Finch Public House   Patisserier

We are a from scratch seasonal cuisine and we are looking for someone to work hand-in-hand with CHef Linton Hopkins to fulfill the promise of the focus within cuisine.

At its heart is a passion and ability to know our regional (and global) farmers and artisans to work as a team leader to continue to define what Holeman and Finch is and should be. To build & support your brigade by training and coaching.

This pastry position is for someone who knows (or is willing to learn) how to transform local seasonal blackberries into a myriad of amazing culinary constructs from the very simple to the complex; all while maintaining the drive for the sublime.

This is only for team players; those special individuals who understand that we are better as a brigade. It is for someone who understands that the first definition of 3 star Michelin is that it is worth creating a special journey rather than how fancy something can be.

Understanding fruit and vegetable varieties and their uses as we journey through the seasons. A solid love of chocolate and knowing that sometimes the best dessert is a well executed chocolate mousse!

As a plus in this kitchen is the drive to make our own breads, yeasted, levain with flours from our local and regional mills. This would be a wholistic opportunity for the person who wishes to pursue their craft.

To be successful you must:
  • Have flexible availability, which may include morning, evening, weekends and some holidays
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all recipes, products and production procedures
  • Ensure consistency and deliciousness of all menu items
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of our products
  • Assist with inventory, organization and overall cleanliness
  • Help with daily monitoring of kitchen safety
  • Assist to develop new items and recipes while ensuring food cost goals are met
  • Monitor kitchen safety and cleanliness and assist to correct maintenance issues


We ask that you have 2+ years of relevant experience as a Pastry cook and be 18 years of age or older. A culinary degree is preferred with food safety knowledge.
