Location: Primary Care office in Depew, NY Position Type : Full-time, First Shift

What you will be doing: - Utilize a variety of venipuncture techniques involved in the collection of specimens from patients.
- Obtain patient specimens using venipuncture and fingerstick techniques.
- Identify, label, and store samples in accordance with internal and legal regulations.
- Input patient results into electronic medical record.
- Adhere to the Exposure Control Plan to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies.
- Communicate with outside Providers, facilities, and vendors, as needed.
- Deliver exemplary customer service to provide a positive patient experience across the organization.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
The education and experience that you will need: - High School diploma and Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited facility required.
- Proven work experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
- Knowledge of centrifuge and medical terminology required. Familiarity with Point of Care testing and electronic medical record systems preferred.
