Location: Primary Care office in Depew, NY

Position Type : Full-time, First Shift

What you will be doing:

• Utilize a variety of venipuncture techniques involved in the collection of specimens from patients.
• Obtain patient specimens using venipuncture and fingerstick techniques.
• Identify, label, and store samples in accordance with internal and legal regulations.
• Input patient results into electronic medical record.
• Adhere to the Exposure Control Plan to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies.
• Communicate with outside Providers, facilities, and vendors, as needed.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to provide a positive patient experience across the organization.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

The education and experience that you will need:

• High School diploma and Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited facility required.
• Proven work experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Knowledge of centrifuge and medical terminology required. Familiarity with Point of Care testing and electronic medical record systems preferred.
