• Merchant Point-of-Sale Lending , a platform that provides custom credit financing for home improvement merchants to offer directly to their customers
• ETF Accelerator , a platform for clients to launch, list and manage exchange-traded funds

Our Impact

We are seeking a risk professional to support our Consumer Business Risk team. The team is responsible for first-line operational risk management across the Consumer businesses, including supporting new product and feature development, conducting risk assessments, identifying and managing issues, facilitating risk measurement and reporting and interacting with, and preparing responses to, regulators.

The successful candidate will:

• Partner with business functions and cross-divisional stakeholders (e.g. Compliance, Legal, Engineering) to implement and enhance our first-line risk management frameworks including issue and risk event management, risk identification and assessment, third-party risk management and operational resiliency approaches
• Drive the strategy for cross-product high-risk process oversight, including risk identification and the effective challenge of control design and assessment
• Identify and assess business risks and required controls, both on an on-going basis and in response to issues, emerging risks and business environment changes

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent military experience; advanced degree (e.g. JD) a plus
• 7+ years work experience in retail consumer banking products (i.e. credit cards, point of sale financing, consumer loans), including knowledge of operational and compliance risk management and applicable regulatory requirements
• Ability to drive a culture of risk management and compliance, while balancing delivery of a best-in-class customer experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and counterparts across multiple functional areas
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to drive multiple projects concurrently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate (both in writing and verbally) with executives and senior leadership across the three lines of defense
• Experience with regulatory interactions (or prior experience as a regulator) a plus
