Job Description

UHNW family of 4 in Miami Beach, FL is looking to hire a full-time Private Chef who will work primarily in the main residence in Miami Beach but you must also be able to work in the Hamptons / NYC in the summer and sometimes at their residence in Montana.


The ideal schedule for the Chef will be 4 days on and 4 days off with schedule flexibility! The flexibility is really key with this position. They plan is to hire two Chefs to both work 4 days on and 4 days off. They will expect full flexibility from each Chef to work and make sure there is coverage for the family at all times


A typical day starts around 7 and could end as late as 10:30 depending on what time the family wants to eat dinner - would focus on flexibility to accommodate family's needs and requests each day rather than a specific # of meals. Generally, for the it's a tray of drinks when he gets up around 8, breakfast either at home or to send to office, prep a lunch + snack to send to office, dinner for Mr and Mrs + 2 children between 7:30-8:30. The Mrs. will have little requests throughout day if she is home + will have lunch at home. Plan to also provide a staff lunch for 3-6 people. You should be able to accommodate small events/luncheons/guests and adapt quickly if there are last minute plans etc.

• Salary: $150k - $160K base + 10% discretionary bonus
• Travel to Montana + NYC as needed throughout the year
• Should plan to be available to cook for Thanksgiving, Passover and other Jewish holidays
• Required to be available to spend 3 months of the year around Memorial Day through mid-August in NY (between Manhattan and Hamptons as needed) - note that there is always a one-two week period where the family takes a summer trip and they are open to flying the chefs back home to Miami during that period, if requested.
• There are staff quarters in NYC, Montana, and the Hamptons. There is no housing provided in Miami.
