Job Description

We are currently looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team here at CGS based in our New York office.

Main Duties :

• Maintain comprehensive records of all vendors, including IT hardware suppliers, software vendors, and service providers.
• Collect, review, and verify quotations from vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely submission of invoices, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups.
• Create and process purchase orders (POs) in alignment with approved budgets.
• Track and manage the complete PO lifecycle, including creation, approval, and closure.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all purchases, including POs, invoices, agreements, and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and guidelines.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary procurement documentation and information.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Admin teams to understand and fulfill purchase requirements.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely processing of vendor payments.
• Prepare and share regular procurement status reports with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and track vendor performance, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines and service levels.

Required Experience :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration, or advanced degree with equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a buying or purchasing function within IT Services and Consulting.
• Basic understanding of procurement principles and practices
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail in order to meet deadlines and be successful in a fast pace environment.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting skills.
• Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). NetSuite Experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
