Job Description

Our client in Austin is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for direct and indirect materials; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Issue and manage purchase orders; streamline procurement and requisition processes
• Reconcile receipts with invoices and resolve any discrepancies quickly
• Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures
• Analyze procurement data to support cost-reduction efforts and drive savings initiatives
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure clear, consistent communication
• Support procurement-related projects from planning through execution
• Provide flexible support across various procurement functions in a high-growth environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in electronics or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of procurement concepts, including vendor negotiation, contracts, and cost analysis
• Experience using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Familiarity with PLM tools and engineering change processes
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to present clear, data-backed insights
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with component library management software
