A contractor company in Greenville is seeking an experienced candidate for a Procurement Manager role. The ideal candidate will be experienced in purchasing and materials management, have strong experience with QuickBooks, and be able to establish strong processes in procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a company-wide procurement strategy
• Source vendors, negotiate pricing, and establish preferred supplier networks
• Develop a job costing system across hundreds of construction plans
• Coordinate with each branch to align purchasing with inventory needs
• Support inventory tracking and reordering processes across the state
• Work with estimating and accounting teams to streamline material control
• Provide reporting and forecasting on procurement trends and savings
Qualifications:
• 5+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
• Proven experience developing purchasing systems or departments
• Familiarity with construction/HVAC industries and inventory workflows
• Ability to handle multi-branch operations and complex job costing
• Experience with QuickBooks
Compensation & Benefits:
• $65,000 - $70,000/yr
